HR29 article in Finnish sailing magazine
Hi all,
Happened to notice that a Finnish boat magazine ”Venemestari” had just an article about a used HR29 (in Finnish)! Maybe the owner is also a member of this forum, but seemed like a really well-maintained HR29 with a new teak deck and also almost a brand new engine (Penta D1-20). According to the article, the boat’s been owned by the same family since new! The article appraised the strong and sturdy hull construction and gave some remarks on low wind sailing performance. What we found innovative was that the article said that the back rests of the sofas can be used as bunks for the kids (when raised up) and thus the HR29 could accommodate 7 (this one was the pilot berth version)!
