I have just taken ownership of HR29 PETREL, hull number 471.
Very excited for the future. PETREL is a little tired at the moment and the engine overheated on our first trip but with some good maintenance and TLC I am sure she will soon be back to how she should be.

Welcome. From the name she sounds like one of the original BKYC yachts. Probably with the quarter berth. Mine is Sirius, based at Hythe on Southampton Water, hull 391. Maybe see you around. Good sailing.

Hi Sirius,
You are right. PETREL started life in Germany. Looking forward to some good sailing and a comprehensive refit over the winter.

I just bought a HR 29, Carina, hull number 326. We are two owners, me and my Sailing friend Werner. We are living in Switzerland and Carina will be launched into the Lake of Bienna. Myself I'm sailing since 30 years all over the European waters.
So me English will not be the best but I hope you will understand me. But if somebody will speakt to me in German, Italien, French or Spaish, so it's ok for me ;)
