Hi HR29 owners!

Just sailed my brand "new" HR29 #77 home from Hamburgsund in Sweden to Oslo in Norway. As far as I know the boat has no name, so we consider naming it "Hallberg" to honor the guys who established the yard long long time ago.

The boat is in relatively good condition, except for the teak bench in the cocpit which need some renovation to look good and be functional again. New genua is in the pipe and som other improvements. My intenttion is to use this forum to find others who have had similar experiences as me as i work my way through the boat. Happy to know there is a forum specific for this specific model!

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

Best regards Frode

I am not an HR 29 owner but I wish to. So, I find on market this beauty but I think something is not OK because the price is to low 16.000 euro. HR 29 build year 1984 docking in London. After I read HR 29 forum it seems to be Grand Illusion. Not sure but I suppose. She is sale by burgessyacht.com. What do you advice me? The seller didn't tell me more except she is private owned and looking good.
Wish you fair winds!
If my question is not in a proper section, I kindly ask the admin to move it in the other section.

Hello bogdam72, same boat made a crossing and is for sale in North America now. What else did you found about it? I'm looking into it, but due to travel regulations have been unable to go check it up.
Greetings to all from Canada,
Luife

Hello, we are Anne und Carsten from Germany. We are proud new owners of a HR 29. First we looked for a Hanse 301. But there was no offer which was convincing. By chance, we found a test on YouTube between different keel forms and the best boat was the HR29. So we were searching for it and found one in good condition and well maintained. So we went for it! We are very glad to be part of this great forum.
Fair Winds!
