Hi Rüdiger,
Welcome on the forum and thanks for the beautiful sailing photo of s/y Sirkka!
I was looking at your photo and wondering, how the tack corner of your asymmetric/gennaker is attached to the bow?

Re: Moin moin
Hi,
This is not a problem, First I use a dyneema Loop wich i put on the short vertical tube of the bow railing Later i use the fitting wich Is on the Photo. It Is more Comfortable and strong enough.

Re: Moin moin
I am thinking of a gennaker. Would be interested in more pictures of your tack attachment. I don't want to go down the bowsprit route and am not sure about attaching it to the anchor. Ideally one needs to be able to alter the length of the tack depending on point of sail.

Hi Rüdiger,
Thanks very much for sharing this! It seems to be a simple but cleaver solution to this rather common problem that Sirius described. I would also be interested to see more photos of this gennaker attachement in action if possible.
But as this gennaker attachement is kind of a 'hot topic' I would suggest that we continue in this old gennaker topic, which has discussion on bowsprits etc.: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=62
Thanks!

Re: Moin moin
Hi Sirius, hi Antti,
I will send a few more pictures about the gennakerfitting as soon as possible.
The tackline has a reduction 1:2 and was fixed on a simple block behind the winch in the Cockpit.
This construction works absolut fine so that I don't think about a bowsprit anymore. The Gennaker was built Last year from Jan-Segel in Germany and have 56 squaremeter. It is a lot of fun to use it.
Have a good new year

Re: Moin moin
Danke
