Re: Buying an HR29
Thanks Tom.
The R29 advertised is still for sale and has been reduced to 180 000 kr.
The owner indicates that she is in need of some restoration work, hence the low price.
Conveniently located, only 10 km from my home in Sandnes.

That's great news! Wishing you the best of winds especially for rounding the Lindesnes and Lista!

... arrived Stavanger 00:50hrs, interesting trip from Lervik (in the Odlo fjord) lasting 4 days with one day out to avoid gale force winds and heavy seas - good to be home.
Re: Buying an HR29
Good to hear that everything went well and your boat is safely in her new homeport.

Hi Antti.
Sorry, not able to give you an objective answer on windspeed and waveheight as my instruments were not working at the time.
It was a bumpy ride. The wind direction was generally against the current direction, although in some sections there were big changes in the current direction as well, pretty mixed up.i
The underlying reason for the waves on Jærens Rev is that the seabed changes gradually over a long distance offshore, unlike the majority of the Norwegian coastline, where it gets to be pretty deep a short distance offshore
