Yes, I guess that someone might call it bureaucracy or unnecessary government guardianship. However, I think that the boating is still rather unregulated, other than you may be fined if you don't have life vests or fire extinguisher on board. But most of the regulation (e.g. emergency steering) comes through sailing clubs and their annual inspections done by club volunteers.

That's it, Tentation is back at sea .
When hoisting the genoa on the Furlex I was faced with some difficulties as the lower foil connection spring does NOT maintain the extrusion inside the adaptor of the lower bearing assembly
My partner has to push down the extrusion untill the genoa was fully hoisted.
Now I wonder if this connection spring can be changed without removing the complete furler .
Has somebody had previously a similar failure ?
